David Powers & Associates have been helping resolve the discomfort and pain of many in the Hendon, Mill Hill, Finchley, Edgware, Stanmore, Bushey and Watford areas since 1996. We have over 3000 patients on our books, those figures cannot be wrong!

David Powers 
 
David graduated from the British School of Osteopathy in 1996 after a full time BSc (Hons)Ost degree course. After qualifying he worked as an associate in a number of established practices, taught at undergraduate level at the British College of Osteopathic Medicine before taking over the Copthall Osteopathic Practice. 
 
He now splits his time between clinical practice, administration of his clinic, as well as specialising in the osteopathic treatment of animals. 
 
Furthering his knowledge through continuing professional development is also a large part of David’s life and he regularly attends lectures, demonstrations and conferences to keep up to date on the latest osteopathic and related topics. 
 
David is now in great demand and his client base consists of a large cross section of the public including A- list celebrities and David has been fortunate to treat the cast and crew of Sweeney Todd, The Golden Compass and James Bond – Quantum of Solace. 
 
In his spare time David runs, swims and is training for his black belt in Tai Jutsu, as well as spending time with his family.

Richard Stileman 
 
Richard graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine (BCOM) where in addition to Osteopathy he also gained a diploma in Naturopathy. 
 
This involved the wider study of nutrition/dietetics, stress management, hydrotherapy, lifestyle/exercise management and visceral osteopathy, allowing him to enhance the holistic nature of his treatment approach. 
 
Richard is also a registered nurse with over 13 years of healthcare experience, having worked in many of London’s teaching hospitals. 
 
In addition to working for David Powers & Associates he is also a clinical tutor to undergraduate Osteopathic students at BCOM and also works as an Osteopath for Athletes Angels, a sporting event company that provides therapists for individuals taking part in endurance athletic events. 
 
In his spare time Richard enjoys swimming, yoga, plays alto sax and trekking, particularly in the Himalayas. 
Debra Godding Osteopath

Debra Godding 
 
Debra is a graduate of the British School of Osteopathy, the largest osteopathic school in the UK, where her studies covered a foundation in anatomy, physiology, psychology and sociology leading to a strong base in structural approaches to osteopathic care. 
 
Prior to studying to be an osteopath, Debra spent a number of years working for a large multinational management consultancy firm. Her decision to change career was prompted by a wish to have more time available to spend with her family. Her previous experience gives her a good understanding of the demands that working in an office environment can make physically & emotionally. 
 
Debra continues to develop her skills in structural osteopathy through external courses. 
In her spare time Debra enjoys keeping fit through running and cycling, cooking and bird watching with friends.

Alexandra is a fully qualified Acupuncturist and a member of the British Acupuncture Council, MBAcC, the professional body for Acupuncturists in the UK. Membership requires practitioners to follow strict guidelines in their practice and ethics, ensuring professional standards. Alexandra is also a member of the London Acupuncture Childbirth Team (ACT) and The Acupuncture Fertility Network (AFN).

Salvatore qualified in Sports massage therapy in 2002 when in addition he studied personal training, nutrition and sports therapy. He has increased his knowledge by studying corrective exercise and holistic lifestyle coaching, which involved learning specific exercises that can help bring the body into an optimum postural position. 
 
His massage skills have seen him work with a wide variety of people from members of the public with tight muscles and poor posture to those competing in sporting activities. 
Continued professional development is something Salvatore takes seriously and regularly studies courses in Sport and remedial massage therapy. 
 
Salvatore prides himself on his well rounded approach to massage and is also a certified Reiki healing practitioner and is insured to the highest standard with the Complementary therapists association.
